An Aetos officer allegedly fired his gun by accident as he was returning the weapon to his company yesterday.

No one was injured in the incident which occurred at about 9.20am at Aetos Security Management's office in West Coast Road.

Police said they are investigating the incident. "An Aetos officer has discharged one round from a firearm at the loading bay," said a police spokesman.

When contacted, an Aetos staff confirmed the incident, but declined to provide more details as police investigations are under way.

These aetos, cisco and what fuck are all only glorified security guards companies....
Inside all made up of rejects who fail to get into SPF, ICA or even the prison service.
These men not should not be allowed to bear arms in public....they will only endanger themselves and the public.
Just google to see how many firearms related incidents connected to these security guards over the years.

Many are Malaysians or PRs. Both AETOS and CISCO are Temasek-linked companies. Both sure to make money coz they are 2 of the 3 permitted to carry firearms. Many mata jobs of the past already outsourced to them. Those who need armed services LL. Not many choices.

heard most are malaysians FTs too...total crap piece of shit people

This isn't half as bad as the fucked up NZ police who actually shot a man by accident. He's in a very serious condition.

Police have accidentally shot a man as he lay on the floor of a Hastings house while being taken into custody this afternoon.

The 33-year-old Hastings man was in Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital after he was shot when a police firearm was accidentally fired.
They did not give the man's condition.

Police were called to a house about 5pm after concerns about the behaviour of the man, who allegedly pointed a firearm at his mother two days ago.

Family rang police this afternoon.

Acting Assistant Commissioner Investigations Glenn Dunbier said the man had been taken into custody by police and was lying on the ground when it appeared a police firearm was accidentally fired towards the man.

Police spokeswoman Kris McGehan said the shot man was in a critical condition. She would not say where the man had been shot.
St John ambulance had been told by police not to comment.

Mr Dunbier said two investigations into the shooting were underway by police and the Independent Police Conduct Authority.
Police were speaking with the man's family this evening.

"This is a very serious event that police will be looking into thoroughly,'' Mr Dunbier said.

"We will be interviewing everyone who was at the scene at the time of the incident as part of our investigations. Our thoughts are with the man and his family at this time and we will be liaising closely with them,'' Mr Dunbier said.
