When the coffin was brought from Sri Temasek en-route to Parliament House, along the road as the carriage passed by, there were quite a number of people clapping and more claps followed....clap clap clap...clap clap clap clap clap...

Why were they clapping? Clapping is a sign of celebration and of success and a tribute to one who receives the claps.

Come this Sunday, the last journey is 15.4km long. Along the roads, we can be certain as the carriage passes by, there will be more clapping.

Clapping is the new funeral gesture to send someone off. For those who wail and cry, go to North Korea or UK and wail and cry for Kim and Diana there.

Here in uniquely Singapore, people clap as a funeral tribute.

Clapping means "Good job!"

When JBJ passed away, hardly any sinkie cared. The only people who came were his small circle of friends and former colleagues, and also PAP leaders, who were magnanimous to let bygones be bygones. Hardly any of the sinkies that JBJ claimed to have fought for turned up.

This is odd because the daughter looks normal when she was younger. Maybe she use some chemicals that made her look different.
