Synopsis
This event is a real time, interactive online experience with a professional tour guide. Which you can enjoy from the comfort of your living room.

Join this online experience and learn about the intriguing history of Medici Family, a family that ruled Florence for over three centuries. This tour dwells into the power, money, plots and murders that defined this family.

We will from the Medici palace and walk through the neighbourhood where they lived to the San Lorenzo Church, where they are all buried. Then, we will proceed to Piazza del Duomo, where the magnificent Cathedral of Florence is located. The cathedral also witnessed the terrible assassination of Giuliano dei Medici.

We will walk through the medieval area to see the medieval houses and talk about the life back in those times. We will stop in Piazza della Signoria, the political centre of Florence, which served as the residence of the Medici family for a short time. Next to the square is Uffizi, one of the most important museums in the world. The building was built by Cosimo the Ist of the Medici family for a very important purpose - the offices! We will cross Ponte Vecchio, the famous bridge, known to be the bridge of goldsmiths. Why do you think it was called the bridge of goldsmiths? The reason is behind the Medici!

We will finish this experience at the Pitti Palace, the last Medici residence. You will hear interesting stories about the last member of the family, and how and why this great blood-line ended.
