THEY CALLED US TRAITORS: Malaysia's anti-corruption chief Mohd Shukri Abdull choked up at a press conference on Tuesday (22 May) as he recounted the difficulties he faced while investigating the alleged abuse of 1MDB government funds back in 2015.

As deputy chief commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission at the time, Shukri said he fled the country in order to avoid arrest.
