I don't think so. The Current US economy is better than many countries after Trump imposed Tariff. Many americans have good jobs and better pay now than before. Whereas China is now heading into recession with massive retrenchment and began to treat small countries around it with respect. Singapore needs to thank Trump that South China Sea aggression is greatly diluted due to China's poor economy.
