Unpopular newbie PAP MP Tin Pei Ling has been slammed by netizens again for splurging taxpayers’ monies to print colored A4-sized flyers to promote her Meet-the-People sessions:

According to a MacPherson resident who tipped us off about the matter, he was shocked and disgusted when he received the flyer in his mailbox. It is believed that the flyers are distributed to all the households in MacPherson as well where Ms Tin reportedly polled less than 50 percent of the votes in the 2011 GE.
Her flyer brought a barrage of criticisms from netizens on TR Facebook ranging from the design to the wastage.
Felicia Jieling took a dig at the fonts used:
“Act cute font… I can barely read that shit without zooming in on Chrome. A more serious font please. And my friend staying in MacPherson, can’t even be bothered to go for MPS.”
Victoria Kal was appalled at the amount of public monies spent on the flyers:
“TPL should have just put notice on every Blk noticeboard & print in black & white instead. It’s expensive to print such color posters, furthermore in bulk. Many of them will end up on floors n rubbish bins. She is spending taxpayers’ $$$ like water. Being so imprudent, she is not cut out to be a MP. *shake head*”
Huang Wei Chun sneered at her ‘hypocrisy’:
“Using taxpayer’s money to finance her publicity. Shame on her. She’s more concerned about her image rather than doing real work for the residents. Well, residents of Marine Parade GRC and especially Macpherson whom voted in favor of PAP, repent for the next 5 years. I don’t know what to say.”
The PAP MPs have been putting up ‘wayangs’ to show that they are ‘engaging’ Singaporeans which are given extensive coverage by the PAP-controlled media especially the lowly Chinese tabloids.
In the meantime, the Singapore police continue to sit on Ms Tin’s case 5 weeks after a report was lodged against her for allegedly flouting election rules which is a SEIZABLE offence under the law meaning that Ms Tin can be arrested and handcuffed.
The police should complete their investigations quickly and let the Attorney-General Chambers decide if there are sufficient grounds to charge Ms Tin. It doesn’t reflect too well on the image of Singapore or the PAP to have a MP under investigations for possibly committing a criminal offence under the law.
