I am starting a thread on songs of the 1960s.....

One of my favourite groups - The Beach Boys
I learnt about them from that great DJ Bernard Solosa....
There was also a hit parade program on Saturdays at noon, not forgetting the request program for hospital patients earlier the same day.

Without fail, Richard Ricado Lim will dedicate a song to someone everyday....... up to now, I still wonder who he is and why he chose such a strange name...

Closer to home, my favorite 1960s tune is by a Singapore band ...The Quests. Does anyone know where can I get a Mp3 version of Shanty by The Quests? Love this tune and can only find Youtube versions but would live to have the Mp3 file and use it as my mobile ringtone

Other than "I like it", Gerry and the Pacemakers also came out with a similar sounding song "How do you do it?"

Can any one remember these songs?
