Top 5 prata stalls in S'pore

Another good example of 2 things I won't eat together......................
Even if I eat a breakfast with bacon and pancakes, I'll eat the bacon separately dipped in some chilli sauce or with the scambled eggs and then eat the pancakes with butter and syrup.
死老 geezer, LOL

Jalan Kayu prata is overrated and sucks now.

Now they're coming up with all kinds of ridiculous prata: cheese, marshmallow, durian.

What blasphemy! Kosong+curry for me.

May be they only chooses the ranking from these 5 stalls? Should have publish the full list.

All these so called best food are over rated and just an excuse to sell ads or make hawkers pay for their recommendations.

Taste very subjective. I got Hong Kong friend bring me to top rated wanton mee in hk, but I can't appreciate why it is rated so high. In fact I prefer another wanton mee store in hk airport. Same for many of recommendation in Singapore.

So long as food suits my taste bud and not too expensive, I am very happy. No need to queue so long or drive all over Singapore to eat overrated food.

so hard to find a good prata stall these days... *sighs*

Try the coffeeshop at Crane Rd / Onan Rd junction.
Comes with three gravies. Not bad.
Opens for breakfast and lunch only.

Do you guys like cheese with your prata?

Or do you prefer the usual plain prata or prata with egg or with onion.

I just tried cheese prata recently and it was ok to me.

Cheese prata is awesome if they use a good cheese, not those cheapo yucky slices.

Egg Prata is the best.

IMHO, a good prata is best made kosong.

the flipping must be consistent in strength and the prata is spread thin evenly, leaving its circumference a tad thicker than the prata itself. when folded properly before it hits the pan, the pan must be hot, first fry before flipping over then add oil. the thinner the kosong, the more crispy it would be :):):)

only when the kosong prata is good, then me will try the teloh bawang, if their teloh bawang can make it, then me try the murtabak in the next visit :D:D:D

Casuarina Curry sucks big time.

Went to their new outlet along Macpherson rd next to the former UOB bank.

KNN, I close my eye and go to any coffee shop prata stall anytime better than them

Their dough cmi, curry also cmi.

Good prata will be changi airport T3, cheap and good.

i don't eat prata anymore. No thanks have not touched that stuff for years not when you know who is handling it. PS the ppl handling it don't have a problem sleeping on the open ground eating food with bare hands etc.

eat too much sure heart attack!
got a friend kena!

I think Roti Prata House is no more....now I see Hans there instead.

You mean 'The Prata Place' at Upper Thomson? It's still there, in the row of shophouses before Han's, just after Springleaf Road, when coming from the city. Awesome pratas.
