ICA and government statistics makes no distinction between Citizen and PRs.

in fact, they refuse to reveal the actual number of citizens vs PRs.

there can only be one reason:

the ratio of PRs to Citizens has reached a politically unacceptable point. if the public were to know the real ratio, the PAP will have to pay a very heavy political price.

In Singapore, it is an offence to withhold data/info from a census officer. but on the other hand, we the citizens, have ZERO access to the data that we contributed, except what the various ministries choose to publish (of course, whatever they publish cannot be verified)

i will never vote PAP as long as they refuse to divulge this info. i'd rather have a monkey than a tyrant for a leader.

they have control of justice system, police and army.
PAP will never lose power through voting or peaceful protest.
why people in singapore do not understand very simple logic.

You have a point there. From time to time, there needs to be some unrest to show that the people are in charge, not the government. Of course, there is no need to carry out violence as long as the people can show that the potential for it is well and alive. Unfortunately, Singaporeans have fallen for the lie about "confrontational politics not suitable for Singapore" hook, line and sinker.
