PAP needs to live with Singaporeans rather than use coercion to make Singapore live with PAP. Current PAP believes they can do anything they want and that radicalizing and incensing the people is alright, because of the unsubstantiated belief of ISA, military and police action to handle the problems. It is a very dangerous disillusion to have. I am seeing dislike now transforming into hatred and anger among Singaporeans of all social strata and age groups. The hoary claim of 60% support is perhaps the greatest downfall. PAP news to watch the drama "Ai" to realize where they actually do stand.
Our grandparents and parents including ourselves have been slogging and working like circus dogs for the benefits of Singapore in the last 45 years. Instead of rewarding us, instead ,they are doing all they can to improve the lives of foreigners and tourists. Efforts were targeted to improve and beautify Singapore coupled with relentless aggressive overseas promotions in pursuit of GDP. What have they done for the benefits of Singaporeans? Look around you, casinos and resorts; Circus Line MRT was built for the convenience of tourists neglecting the problems at North-South and East-West Line where Singaporeans need most. Scholarships and university admissions were so easily given to foreigners. Mediating the curry cooking at the expense of local born citizens..etc
