During the TOC forum, that was what he said. There you go. Most of the electorate agrees with PAP's policies.
 
I really ponder how 60.1% polling result is a mandate from the people. This is a freak event as a result of Gerrymandering and GRC barrier. It is a system ulterly unfair to the people of Singapore.
 
Forget about 60% vote share. The mandate is 81 out of 87 seats, allowing PAP to do whatever they like with the constitution. If this is not strong mandate, what is?

in first past the post, one will win 90% of seats with 60% popular vote.

imo we should consider some sort of proportional representation.
