In his run up to PE, Tony Tan must apologize to the nation for his ultra pro-FT policies; for giving away scholarships to not so talented Indians and PRCs and for slamming the doors at the face of many born and bred Singaporeans.

If TT gets to win the PE, then SG is sending a msg to the PAP that you can continue to do whatever you want and people will still blindly accept it.

If TT loses the PE, then SG would have send a very clear message to the PAP that either you buck up OR face the consequences in subsequent general elections.

From 66% to 60%. Perhaps what it takes is for the swing to go down to 50ish% for this Govt to really be less complacent and change for the better.

The outcome of this PE is more important that what most people think.
