Texan police have released shocking footage of a child accidentally being thrown from
the back window of a getaway car during a high-speed chase. In the video, the SUV can
be seen rolling, with the 18-month-old girl being ejected from the vehicle.
She then gets to her feet and stumbles as she heads back to car, before one of the
suspects gets out to retrieve her. Minutes before the incident, the four teenage suspects
had robbed 19-year-old Chelsea Betenbough in a nearby parking lot.
They were later arrested, with the child being hospitalised for treatment of non-life
threatening injuries.
