Mecca of Chao ah tiong.been years since I been there. can't wait to see its transformation.should I eat lunch there and risk food poisoning?

Pilgrimmages are just ego trips. Learn to treat people around you fairly in your everyday dealings. That is worth a lot more than visiting some shrine and praying for good luck.

The Tiong hub has extended to Geylang now, the smaller number lorongs. Many dongbei cuisine restaurants there.

Perhaps one day they'll reach the peranakan territory of Katong.

Well done Lee Hsien Loong.

I can only assume Chinatown is good for the animal lover.plenty of pussies and chicken. And you can do doggie.

Whatever you see, eat, encounter, engage... all @ your own risk.
