I don't think lky is not aware that his will is controversial. The most logical guess is that he wanted the house demolished but his wife wanted it be given to lhl. He didn't have the heart to remove the wife's wish from the will. So he left it inside hoping that it will be demolished and rebuilt as hinted in his email to hc. The siblings proposed to demolished and create a park on the land - so it is not about money as alluded by many. However this option is not acceptable to lhl.
