They can even monitor the numbers you play and also your pattern - esp those who place big skyscraper bets on the roulette table. I've learnt NOT to follow these big fishes. If they pepper all the BIG numbers, I play SMALL -usually the small fishes will be fed by the casinos while the BIG FISHES will be eaten wholesale without mercy. It's a very tragic and painful game - I see punters place skyscrapers, thousand after thousands...and they were all swept away by the dealer!!!! The number that appears usually - most times - is the number they did not place any bet at all or just a very small token insurance bet. Those skyscrapers will fall like sand castles...thousands and thousands just a few rounds....fist their cash chips...then their cash..until they empty their wallets...some return after ATM withdrawals and also very quickly donate to the casinos - dazed, intoxicated and reckless. And this is the BLACKHOLE of the CASINO..

be very very careful once you reach this stage...call for help or SMS....

Thanks for the info. I guess as much. The close scrutiny of gamblers must be very serious indeed. Who wins and who loses they know.Who cheats and who lies also they know.So once in the casino, better behave yourself.Thank you Bro MPM.

Ladyluck plays a part where the moment you start sitting and place your 1st bet, if you are winning all the way, likelihood you will leave the casino a winner. But if from the 1st bet is losing all the way, doesn't mean you will leave the casino a loser. Sometimes losing less is also considered a winner. If you lose where you set a limit, just leave. If continue playing and lose even more, that is confirmed a loser.

Actually when I play, I don't like to use feeling. Because when you use your feeling, you will start making wrong judgements. Look at all the croupiers, do they distribute cards or spin the wheel with feelings? They got no emotions, because they are there to work. They get a salary. They don't even care whether they help their boss make money. Play like how the croupiers do. They are robots.

I don't need to feel Banker, Player. If I play Baccarat, I only buy Banker.
If I buy football bets, I think its Home Team, I buy Home win. I don't think of Home, Draw or Away.
If I buy forex, I only buy when its low, and predict it goes up. I don't need to go and buy high and predict it comes down. Same thing for shares.

Never expose yourself to too much options. Limit to 1 or 2 (Best is 1). If you only have 1 option, you don't need to hesitate. You only need to think do or don't do.

hi brother, you are a wise gambler.my salute to you.i have learn alot from your wisedom here.hope you can teach us more on your insight.

Thank you Bro Yong Lee.

I think many of us, including myself, find it difficult to RUN away when we are winning. I've several occasions WON...several thousands sometimes..but I stayed on to get the entertainment that I was enjoying...and in the end, I LOST badly and painfully...

Last month I've lost my salary....This month Nov, I'm lying pretty low....The initial months were good and I was WINNING. But I've been losing - all my previous winnings and my capital too, including my salary!

Maybe I might have to apply for my self-exclusion ban soon. I know gambling is bad and I've been thru these previously. But it's getting addictive and I've to put a halt to this draining and tiresome past-time. I will keep a low profile until my LUCK returns - if ever it'll return. It's good that I lost. Otherwise I'll be hooked line and sinker to the casino ignoring all my work and commitments.

Thanks for the references to Ajahnchah's teachings - most inspiring and helpful.

1 strategy I ever learn from share investing books. The most profitable strategy is to avoid making mistakes.

To avoid making mistakes is to learn the rules of the games you are playing well. 1 single mistake can reduce your winning by 1 credit. So if you are supposed to win 4 credits in a session of gambling, you basically gave up 25% of your winnings.

Multiply it into 10 trips and see that's the difference.

If you are tired, don't drag yourself to the casino for "overtime work". I have seen people with tired eyes almost slumping on the table. I don't know what they are trying to achieve. To win till the casino close down or to win till their bag is full of money? They don't even know what they actually want.

The 1st para, The most profitable strategy is to avoid making mistakes. There is no shortcut to winning

Bro blackhole, sorry to hear about your losses. There was once I lost my whole month salary in a few hours. I felt heart pain, and so far till now I have been able to control my urge to casino (but not too sure is this gonna be lasting).
Next time if your urge comes, just think of how hard you need to work to earn that $, perhaps it may stop you. Unless your $ comes easy then this may not work for you.

last time ever tried before on few occasions, but never made any money from it so no longer want to try forex again. Daytime I play SGX, nowadays night time play US stocks. So only weekends and world public holidays I go casino. Play in casino with money can afford to lose. If on a losing streak just go on a break first and relax. Then 2-3 weeks later then play again.

Those who lost money on casino, should try to make some back through long term investment on Genting SP or LVS (US)

If the market is normal, no financial meltdowns,
Genting should hit at least $3 by mid next year. Though if it hits I wouldn't sell too. I am looking at $5. (conservative estimate) or $8 (wild estimate)

LVS peak around $140+, but I think if no govt restrictions in macau, their business should hit $60 by next year. (conservative estimate)

Because forex is volatile unlike shares. So if you ask me between shares and forex, I only made money from shares before and not forex. So to ask me to play forex, I might as well play shares.

In forex, you play by winning from pips. The attractive part of forex is you don't need a lot of cashflow to play. You need a high margin and hope it doesn't go the opposite direction of what you pick. You need to be reading from technical analysis.
In shares, you need to put in money to play. Quite a bit as you are buying into companies via shares. You need to study the fundamentals and also the technical part before deciding whether its worth investing. You can buy a stock for $10 and see how many folds it goes up if your pick is right.

Nowadays a lot of people are playing forex because there are many adverts and seminars on forex trading. But forex is not for everyone. So far you see those who advertise themselves as top forex traders, seldom hit consistent earnings for years. A majority of those 11% of singaporeans who have more than 1 million (excluding property) made their money during the 07,08,09 property and stock market. Even overseas you see many who make real good money comes from stocks and properties.

Their net worth could be $100K and then when the bull comes, their 100K becomes $500K or even more. You make $10K to $100K is a very tough road, but once you hit $100K, the next 10 fold to $1mill is easier.

Forex doesn't mean cannot, but it is not as easy as what the adverts and seminars are saying. Follow the majority on how they make money. Not follow the minority. Now forex has too much hype, and those trainers who teach forex make their money mostly from teaching and not playing forex. :p

The catch of teaching you for free is 1st you need to sign up a forex account with a referral link to them. Then they will tell you they teach you how to earn while you learn. Then there is this just sign up $50 to play play first.

This is the basic trick of some forex traders like what they call themselves. Then they will give you free tips once you have signed up referral links under them. You go fuckwarezone got many of these amateur traders.

Casino win, why throw away your hard earn sweat and blood money?

I agree. Just for some flutter and some fun....:wink::wink:

There are many forms of gambling and casino is only one of them. I think as long as we know what we are doing and know our limits, it should be okay. And if a gambler knows he is getting out of control,he can ban himself....

As long as one's know their limit and having some fun , i do agree.

Honestly how many are there who can control their gambling addiction.

Have play Taiwan shotgun Russian Poker every double is 1k, if unlucky gotten shotgun, you have to pay triple for every double you lost.

When you are single it is alright even if you lose your shirt, as money is easy come easy go and life mean nothing you only live for the day.

When you win you just splash and party all night long, when you lose, you go back to work,

Give up gambling the day i got married, family is more important, haven't touch any form of gambling for the last 20plus years, only stock mkt onw
