Tiong PR couple left SG many years ago, the first son also escaped NS.

Tried applied PR for 2nd son kenna rejected not happy!

All the Tiongs who want Sinkie PR or citizenship, or even upon landing at the airport, should make an official written declaration that they are not a member of the CCP.

If found to be lying afterwards, they will be punished and deported. Their Sinkie citizenship or PR will be revoked.

Anyway, for the gainfully employed mid-high SES FTs, they don't even need to apply for a PR. After working for a few years, the govt will send an invitation letter to them to take Sinkie PR. Upon which they may decide to accept or decline the offer.

Maybe the policy has changed, or that is a privilege not given to Tiongs (I doubt it, as I know ATBs who got PR through a similar procedure). Therefore I suspect the ATB in the video is not wholly upfront with the truth.
