With each speech completed, Rin Tin Tin must be feeling confident. Surely she simply CANNOT be worse than:
LAWRENCE WONG (West Cost GRC) who yelped and defended our GDP growth strategy, that it was not pursued for its own sake. Don't we all know that already! GDP growth is pursued because it is linked to the ministers' bonus, dumbo.
DENISE PHUA (Moulmein-Kallang GRC) echoed the refrain that no opposition is needed to play the paternal role and artificially inject alternative voices. If the PAP lap-dogs had done their job in the past, then 40% would not have voted against the party. People like her have been having it easy and suddenly have to work for their money.
CHAN CHUN SENG - "It is thus incumbent upon the successful to help the less successful." Show us some examples of past and present successful ministers who have done so? Walk the talk, man. His predecessor Vivian unhumanly denied about 30,000 down-and-out an increase of $30 PER MONTH by asking whether these people want to eat at restaurants, coffee-house or hawker centre.
JANIL PUTUCHEARY said it was okay to have the ISA although he did express that he was opposed to it emotionally. Translation - my father deserved to be jailed under ISA although I was a little sad. His father's jailing must have affected his brain too - he likened treating "hundreds of babies in KK" as having saved their lives and to completing NS. This is the newly-minted MP who decided to take up citizenship after he was past the legal age to be called up for NS.
LAWRENCE WONG - "Active citizenry is a key ingredient of any functioning democracy." He should tell that to the Marines. Or the Occupy Raffles Place organisers. What a jerk, what a joke.
So, can Tin Pei Ling do any worse? Or are we going to be surprised?
