Masagos fear the PAP and favour his own salary. F&B business run by cronies are allowed, with long queue of food delivery forming outside their shops, whereas home based F&B are not allowed to be "Ta Bao" by social distancing customer. There are thousands of hawker stalls and coffee shops all over Singapore. I doubt that vast majority of them are PAP cadres. They pay rent, pay utilities, taxes and licensing fees and are subjected to regular sanitation and hygiene checks by the authorities. The government has a duty to crack down on home based food businesses that do none of these and still want to make a profit from selling food .
