IF Singapore is to move forward, the People's Action Party must change.

This observation came not from an opposition candidate, but from a PAP candidate - one who's a minister to boot.

Speaking at a PAP rally last night, his party had to undergo a transformation if it wants to engage he new generation of Singaporeans, many whom are angry with the Government.

He admitted that there as a lot of resentment towards the ruling party because it was too arrogant and high-handed.

More in The New Paper today (May 6).

They had 5 years. And they realise only now. George has been in Parliament for how many years? His track record says he will not be our voice.

Leopards does not shed/changes its spots. Give them five or even fifty more years and whatever in-fighting they may have, nothing is going to change. Deny them absolute power, only then will we see a change in government not PAP, simple as that.
