Flight drama: Three people fist fight on a Cathay flight over seat arrangements

A Cathay flight bound for Hong Kong from Chongqing was almost forced to turn around after a couple and another woman on board began a physical fight.
The couple were upset that the woman in the seat in front of them was leaning her seat back. Other passengers said the three were arguing for several minutes before the fight broke out.
The flight attendants attempted to separate and calm the three adults down while the pilots conferred with air traffic control as to where they could land.
In the end it was decided that the flight would continue on to Hong Kong. When the Cathay flight arrived in Hong Kong, police were there to greet the brawlers and hold an interview. After a few hours of interviews and discussions the Hong Kong police said that the couple and the woman would settle the matter privately and the airlines would not be involved.
