Employer will hire him wan....

If FT ask for $650....he can bid for $550.
Be more competitive.

this trend is indeed worrying, a lot of uncles like him end up driving taxis. Some with kids grown-up still ok,those got kids still studying is quite hectic for them.
in angmo countries, majority can work until retire. In sg, it's just opposite.

Honestly, how many, when they reach that age are still holding on to job? No only to a job, but meaningful work & pay, that are equitable to them?

The stories featured were those who truly loved their jobs. Why don't the brothel come out with stories of how people have to take the grind at unpleasant jobs because they can't retire? Or people who were retrenched from jobs they have come to love and asked to take jobs that they don't like and accept much reduced pay because of the foreign workers?
