Losing Lee Kuan Yew is the greatest heartbreak for Singapore. People can say whatever they like but they can never disagree that he was the pillar and foundation of this nation; a true leader who had propelled the nation massively forward.
In living memory of Lee Kuan Yew, the father and soul of Singapore, we hope to gather fellow Singaporeans to join us in this petition - in hope to make a proposal to the Singapore government to build a statue of Lee Kuan Yew. Its location shall be decided by them. We will duly respect the final decision and outcome of this petition.
Thank you for your signatures and please, do help us spread the word.
P.S.: No donations or whatsoever required! It appears that after submission, a request for donation pops up. IGNORE!

And we've hit the 2000 mark
thank you for your kind support! Not too sure if we'd hit the target but let's do our best. It's worth the shot. Looking through your comments, yes we agree that this would be good for the future generations of Singaporeans to remember his passion and work for our country, including fellow friends from all over the world when they visit SG. I would think anything of a tangible trace of LKY in SG would be good because tangibility is more visible, believable and easily remembered. I mean, seriously... Do you recall the school excursions to Sir Stamford Raffles statue - where our teachers educated us about how he had found and established SG? That's how it should be with LKY's too. Educational, inspirational and an everlasting memory.
Do you think this is a good idea?
