If he up lorri tomorrow the newspapers Huat ah....obituary pages sure full
Sorry to digress from the subject proper.
Those people who place such huge adverts in the ST ought to be ashamed of themselves.
The guy or gal is stiff dead inside the teakwood or cardboard box awaiting either to be buried or cremated.
What does he or she know about those ppl making such "gratifying" announcements.
The ST on the other hand is obviously happy as lots of $$$$$$$ money comes into their coffers.
Those making such adverts should in future use the money saved from unneccessary obituaries to channeling it to some funds dedicted for the poor people in Singapore who are struggling in life and are away from the antennaes of those in power.

The media should interview him to find out how he is such a good time manager.
You don't understand the mentality of Chinese Sinkies (maybe PRCs too).
If someone (elderly) dies, he or she must go out with all the pomp and pageantry afforded by the bereaving family.
Full page color ads on the newspapers, massive funeral procession at the void deck with busloads of mourners etc.
It's about flaunting the family's wealth and the deceased's popularity. That's all there is to it.
