I posted about this PAP female Monkey before..
2 years back during the heights of the 2011 GE, I went to Kallang to attend a WP rally there.. Made a small chat with a Malay uncle in his early 70s who lived in MacPherson estate.. Told me he was a retired taxi driver.. Had to quit driving due to his heart ailment.. He lived in a 3 room flat with his wife who's a housewife.. His only son passed away years ago..
He then had a heart operation and incurred quite a hefty bill for his heart surgery.. He went to see Fatimah for help.. Fatimah then gave him a job clearing plates at the Circuit Rd hawker centre.. He only lasted few weeks in his new job as the job was tough and he was still feeling tired due to his heart problem.. Went to see Fatimah again and this time she told him to rent out his spare room or downgrade to be smaller flat..
He refused the suggestions as his wife was uncomfortable renting out a room to some stranger.. Few weeks after that he saw Fatimah and her Por Lumpars visiting the Circuit Rd hawker ctr for a Sunday walkabout.. He called out for her and waved at her to seek her attention.. She saw the Uncle but pretended not to see him..
