A hate preacher described women as "wild animals" in a sermon that went ahead after the Home Office rejected calls to ban him from the UK.

Yusri Jabar, an Egyptian lecturer, gave two sermons on Sunday and Monday at a London mosque previously attended by one of Britain's first known suicide bombers.

Mr Jabar was allowed to enter Britain despite Labour and Tory MPs urging Shabana Mahmood, the Home Secretary, to revoke his visa on public safety grounds.
