Man drowns when GPS tells him to drive into a lake
October 5th 2010, Sympatico.ca Autos
A man has reportedly drowned after his GPS navigation system guided him into a lake.
According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the incident happened late at night on a dark, rural road north of the city of Cordoba.
A passenger who was in the car at the time survived.
This isn't the first time a GPS system has contributed to an accident and it likely won't be the last.
I don;t care if the road was dark or it was rural. When your headlights show there is no road, but water in front, u need to hit the brakes.
