Do not wear expensive things even though you can afford.
For this CNY you do not know the person/s you meet may be in solid dire straits.
Of course there will be some Singaporeans that will show off. Mark them down as "classless" wannabes.
Because this CNY, my friends and I (the old rich) will be very mindful as always when mingling.
Only the noveau riche or new rich will show off. They have no class.
Money cannot buy you class no matter what diamonds or watches or car you have. It's the attitute that buys one class.
