After the new report, people in china started selling these fleshlight in the streets LOL! telling people that they are some kind of medicine, selling small and big ones and claiming it to be mushroom that grew for 10 years, selling up to $2000 USD!!

Xi'an Up Close 《西安零距离》, an investigative journalism programme which airs on Xi'an TV, has become a national laughing stock after airing a report on June 17 on a "mystery mushroom" which was discovered by villagers in a rural part of the city.

When I first watched the video, I thought so too, then I looked for the other video shown on the laptop and found it on youtube. Then realized it's ignorance of rural people.
