It sounds paradox to have 82 pappies serving on the parliament and yet they inject another group of people they call NMPs to contradict. So are we telling the world the 82 PAP MPs are nincompoops ?
The sole purpose of NMPs is to have soap opera among the same flock, dilute the oppo voices in the parliament, to excite the voters and then ends with a damp squib. Guys, you see, we have alternative voices woh!
So what you have beauty queens, doctors, and professors taking the NMPs’ seat, but who do they represent? PAP or the people? Think again. NMPs speak for not for the people but for the sake of speaking up to glorify PAP.
NCMP is voted by the electorate. Why not we have at least three best NCMPs to represent the minority votes in the parliament when you can have 4 to 5 NMPs representing the PAP MPs?
If we look again, the vast difference between NCMP and NMP is obvious. Unlike NMP, elected NCMP has a bigger role in the parliament.
Ask yourself, what can the NMP beauty queens and white-horse yes- men do? Wear scanty to enthrall the sleepy-white pigs at the parliament?
