this gov expect u to toil n slave but when old u die ur biz. I rather have high tax but subsidised old age care.. look at France high tax is there mass emigration due to that?

Everything is an illusion. Low direct income tax is offset by the very high indirect taxes, such as the various levies, COE, ERP etc. Only the govt can have its cake and eat it.

You forgot to mention this - GST tax.
