​Stomper Missy noticed that the same man had participated in Stomp's Love Story Contest last year and this year -- but with a different partner.
In 2013's contest, Edward had shared about how he asked Fish to be his girlfriend after they first met.
He said he decided to marry Fish as her great-grandmother had passed away and according to traditional beliefs, would not be able to marry in the next three years.
In 2014's contest, Edward wrote that he had been smitten with Eileen since he was 17.
However, he did not do anything about his feelings as she was already attached then, and they slowly lost contact.
Two years later, they crossed paths again and started seeing each other as Eileen was single again.
The couple are now married and Eileen gave birth to a baby boy last month.
Stomper Missy had been browsing through the Love Story entries on Stomp and made the connection between both articles.
She wrote in her email:
"Browsing through this year's Valentine's Day Love Stories on Stomp reminded me of this guy who wrote about his beautiful and blissful story of his marriage last year, which left a deep impression on me.
"I went to search for that entry from last year again and indeed found the same guy but with a different girl. How disappointing."
