You probably know her as Buffy Summers from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' but she also starred in other '90s classics, such as 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' (1997), and 'Scream 2' (1997).

Gellar did star in a few horror movies in the following years, including 'The Grudge' (2004), 'The Grudge 2' (2006), and 'Possession' (2009).

Then: Jennifer Love Hewitt​

Another queen of '90s scary movies, Jennifer Love Hewitt starred in classics such as 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' (1997) and 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer,' which was released the following year.

From 2005 to 2010 we could see her communicating with the dead in the series 'Ghost Whisperer.' More recently, she starred in a number of TV shows, including '9-1-1.'

The 'Scream' franchise star is one of the most popular actresses of the genre in the '90s.

We will see Neve Campbell playing Sidney Prescott again in 2022 in another 'Scream' movie.

The actress played the witch (and goth icon!) Nancy Downs in 'The Craft' (1996).

Dr. Hannibal Lecter in 'The Silence of the Lambs' (1991) is one of the actor's most memorable performances.

Hopkins did play the same character in two sequels, and has starred in a couple of scary movies, including 'The Wolfman' (2010) and 'The Rite' (2011).

Before becoming Rachel from 'Friends,' Aniston actually made her film debut in a 1993 horror movie called 'Leprechaun.'

Aniston never really got into horror movies. More recently, we could see her in the series 'The Morning Show.'

Ulrich became famous in 1996 with 'The Craft' and 'Scream.'

She continued acting and we could recently see her in Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' (2019). A new 'Urban Legend' is currently in pre-production, and according to IMDB, the actress will star in it.
