this is really sad.
why PAP gets voted in during every GE? the truth is the mentality of singaporeans. most of them are complacent. they are complacent about "if it's not broken; do not fix it". such thinking is exactly what the PAP hopes to maintain indefinitely so that they can remain in power - indefinitely and everyone gets screwed, again indefinitely :(
if singaporeans do not give opp candidates a chance to perform and show their prowess in tackling and keeping the PAP in check, we shall never know that we could have an alternative to PAP's dominance. that would be a great progress and lead in our political landscape!
PAP shall still rule. that's for sure but the ratio of the opps in parliament should change and change for the better , i.e, not the regular muted 2 opp mp. one of them look like going anytime and then there would remain one :(
the truth of the pudding is singaporeans FEAR THE UNKNOWN, especially it has never been tested. if we continue harbouring such complacency in our political system, then we are guaranteed to be screwed again for the next 5 yrs by the pap.
i hope more postings can be seen here to remind everyone the repetition of price hikes everytime after GE. it's becoming a pain the butt occurences that follow every past GE.
PAP DOESN'T KEEP MUCH OF THEIR PROMISES. do u agree on this?
where's our SWISS STANDARD after how many GEs ago? have our pays reach a level that many singaporeans could afford to live a decent quality life without too stressful ending up like a slave? worst, it regresses. many are now not appropriately employed. terms such as "structural unemployment" is simply rubbish and convenient excuse.
are u living happy and basking in the deluding promises the pap boasted during the last GE? are u feeling secure that jobs maybe lost as easily as unexpect
