Nope, I don't see it that way. The angmohs were no saint. They were cruel and powerful from the start. It is China who are dumb and stupid to pick a fight with the strong. The China themselves were selling opium to begin with. You don't find this problem in Japan, right?

In fact there were numerous rebellion against the Manchu ruler Qing emperor to kick them out of China ever since Qing came to rule. US enter the pacific war formally after Japan attack the pearl harbour. As for the atomic bomb, Japan would not have to suffer that had they not started the war with US. You don't get the drift.
