Primary sch student used vulgarity on teacher

Teacher_replies_to_primary_school_girl_s_vulgarities-topImage.jpg

A primary school pupil slammed her Chinese teacher in a vulgar Facebook post, and received a reply to the post from none other than the teacher himself.

A netizen who was shocked by the behaviour of the young pupil sent screenshots of the exchange to citizen journalism site, Stomp.

"We are taught to be respectful to our teachers but what has the world become?" wondered the netizen.

In the original post, the female pupil taunted the teacher for his elite educational background: "You think you from Raffles JC big sibo? Tink(sic) you cher I scared uh?"

She also criticised the teacher for his inability to control the class, even when he shouts to get their attention. "Hate my status thn (sic) f------ block me," she added.

In the teacher's lengthy reply, he calmly admitted that he was from Raffes Junior College, but it is not something worth "showing off".

He also asked the pupil to "consider giving due respect to teachers and appreciate their delivery of the lesson", and asked if the girl's parents are aware of her using Facebook, "given your non-legal age"?

In response, the pupil accused him of putting on an act by writing in "such good english", even when he's a Chinese language teacher.

The teacher also asked the pupil to share the posts with her teachers and parents, adding that they would be "most interested in the things that go on in the classrooms nowadays."

Many readers who commented on the post on Stomp expressed criticism towards the girl for her rant. "Can't believe a primary school kid (is) behaving like that. Not easy being a teacher," wrote netizen, cplusesd.

Others blamed "failed parenting" for the girl's behaviour, and applauded the teacher for maintaining his composure in his replies.

your ability to read into situations is simply astounding :D:D:D

The post by the teacher is exactly the same situation as the government vs the losers in this forum.

The stirring of hate towards the authority by netizen are too successful ...
wa! ... netizen so powderful! ...

it matches perfectly, a JC student used vulgarity on DPM so can a pri sch student.

students have been using vulgarities on teachers way before there was the Internet leh. i know the jc student used it but linking it to this one and calling it "stirring of hate" is stretching it a bit too far liao no? i think children these days are just increasingly bo ka si.

you want students / youngsters to be vocal / creative, they are exhibiting just that.

if you want students to respect teachers today, the teachers better to be worth respecting loh, if you look at the crop of MOE scholars / teachers, LOL...install camcorders in toilet, WTF...

Teacher or cher should use Teo Chee bye's modus operandi:

Student: You think you from RJC big sibo?
Teacher: What you think? Big?

Student: Tink you cher I scared uh?
Teacher: I would like to ask you back the same question - you scared of me?

Better to stir/incite hate against an arrogant and incompetent PAP regime, than for PAP astroturfers to stir shit on the Internet.
