Not quite 150,00 new voters. You have to consider the kids who are of non-voting age. Still, even if it is half that, i.e., 75,000, that's a lot of new voters.
This may cause future problems. I foresee future "new" citizens deciding to run for office & get support from fellow 'new' citizens. You would have the takeover of Spore by 'foreigners' i.e new citizens
Tuan,
The 150,000 represents nearly 7% of total votes if you take the 2011's total votes of 2.2 mil into consideration. As it was, the final tally were 60 to 40%. No wonder carry on mati mati kasi binya. Interesting figures.:o

This comfirms my suspicions..
Each time I went back to Tampines to visit my parents, I see more and more India Ah Nehs, their Saree clad wives and their young idiotic chimpanzee kids playing noisily under the block..:oIo::oIo:

2. the bayshore area is so infested with them.
3. the waters in the condo pools has literally turned blackish!
4. don't ask me why!

Any maths expert here ?
Hypothetically speaking, if there is 0 new citizens, the margin will be 53 - 47% ?![]()
Yes in 20-30 years time, it won't be the Singapore that you and I know it. Anyway, it does not matter. The local Sinkies like you and me won't be around much longer anyway.
