SINGAPORE—A senior official at Singapore's anticorruption agency has told prosecutors he will plead guilty to charges of misappropriating more than 1.7 million Singapore dollars (US$1.34 million) in public funds, his lawyer said Friday.
The case, which surfaced in February, was a rare one involving corruption allegations against an officer from the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau, the agency tasked to preserve Singapore's prized reputation for probity in government and business.

SINGAPORE—A senior official at Singapore's anticorruption agency has told prosecutors he will plead guilty to charges of misappropriating more than 1.7 million Singapore dollars (US$1.34 million) in public funds, his lawyer said Friday.
