The Pinnacle - newly completed but already up for rent?

These ads posted on local real estate websites had STOMPer Tweety confused. She wonders if it is legal to offer units at The Pinnacle up for rent, since they only started handing over keys to owners on Dec 13.

Here's what the surprised STOMPer wrote in an email today (Dec 23):

"I came across these ads on a local real estate website.

"My question is whether it is legal to rent out newly completed HDB flats at The Pinnacle yet?

"HDB only started handing over house keys to owners on Dec 13 this year."

According to the HDB's website, tenants are normally required to complete a 3-5 year Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) before being eligible to rent out their entire flat, with a number of exceptions.
