It has created a category of uncommitted sex for men young and old to engage in.

It has created a whole revolution where men are freed from the commitment of marriages because of the babies.

The prolonged state of unmarried men meant less men available for women who want to get married.

Remember, women has maternal instinct and a short window of opportunity to make babies, perhaps from 16-40 years old.

So, women find that the pool of suitable partners are reduced and they have to marry less suitable men. This unfortunately caused more divorces. So, again, men win and the divorced men get to look for younger women. Remember, the pool of women who want to get married is larger.
