The Elections Department has a full-time staff establishment of about 28 officers, supported by a team of IT personnel. However, during the conduct of presidential election, parliamentary election or national referendum, the Elections Department's ranks swell to meet the challenge of steering the thousands of public sector employees engaged in the actual conduct of the election or referendum.
