Sadly, it is NOT THE ORIGINAL TEACHINGS of any RELIGION that are the cause of all this communal and religious hatred that exist in this shared planet today.
It is the WRONG INTERPRETATIONS that are to be blamed.
Those irresponsible people who stand on pulpits, podiums and stages and start insisting that their version is right in any particular verse of any HOLY BOOK are to be blamed.
These people have charisma and poise when they address the multitudes that attend their sermons.
The manner in which these people preach their innocent followers (use of body language and sad pitiable lamentations) lead these poor people in a state of delirium and frenzy.
Hence they believe that whatever is being preached is the Cardinal Truth.
More often then not, past unpleasant events are used to justify their twisted interpretations.
Just read any Holy Book and you will find that every religion talks about UNIVERSAL LOVE and COMPASSION, about charity and about service to mankind and even animals, about the greatness of loving our Planet and benefits of peaceful co-existence.
But sadly, these days things have changed.
Just look at our own backyard and see the sudden growth of mammoth places of worship and the way the preachers are being respected.
The accumulation of wealth make these "new people of the Book" into successful enterpreneurs.
I call these kind, the modern day First Class travellers on B380's
So dear readers, please don't blame any religion or their followers.
Blame ourselves for not being able to do anything about these state of affairs.
You good people may remember Charles Manson & Sharon Tates, the Cult Davidian, Ibrahim Libya of Kg Memali, Al-Maunah and the Armoury Heists (Malaysia), Singapore People's Liberation Front, Jemaah Islamiah, Al-Qaeda, Janata Vimukti Peramuna (Sri Lanka), Babbar Khalsa (Indian Punjab), Shiv Sena (Maharashthra), Jundullah and many more.
Identify the serpents and thou shall be saved.
