In Europe, Asia, or anywhere else in the world with advanced railroad systems, you can easily hop on a train that'll take you from one major city to the next. However, those who wish to travel to further destinations will have to undergo train rides that will last for hours. Naturally, many of us will get bored along the way, because we don't think there's anything to do on a train. But that couldn't be further from the truth!

Being able to do work while on the train -

The steady movement of a train ensures a level of stability, making tasks like typing or reading more manageable compared to the turbulence that can be experienced on airplanes.

Trains are mostly on time - Weather conditions, such as rain or snow, have less impact on train services compared to airplanes and road transport, ensuring more consistent operations. The extensive and well-maintained rail networks enable efficient rerouting options in case of track issues or other operational challenges.

Although the train ride from Toronto to Quebec City, is much longer than flying, I prefer and enjoy it.
Decades ago, I took the special Rockies in the Daylight train from Jasper to Vancouver. Banff to Vancouver is also available. Later that month, I took the train from Prince George in northern BC to Jasper.

Unfortunately, not in Canada.

Those days were also known as the good old days of yore.:x3::tongue:

No, or limited, luggage allowance restrictions -

Trains liberate travelers with generous luggage policies, eliminating the worry of extra fees or repacking at the station. This flexibility is a boon, allowing passengers to travel easily, carrying essentials to enhance their journey and stay.

No, or limited, luggage allowance restrictions - Unlike airlines, trains circumvent the stress of strict allowances, enabling a more relaxed start to the travel experience. With no rigorous luggage checks, boarding and disembarking become quicker, making the transit process smoother and more efficient.
