Prince William turns 30 tomorrow (June 21) and to celebrate the milestone age reached by our future monarch
we have looked back over his royal life to see how the young William grew into the Duke of Cambridge.
From the breakdown of his parent's marriage, the sad death of his mother Princess Diana and his romance with Kate
Middleton. Prince William's first thirty years have been pretty eventful. Though he has grown up as a privileged prince,
the pressure of being a member of the royal family and a future king has never been too far away.
But alongside his wife the Duchess of Cambridge and his younger brother Harry, William has helped modernise the
monarchy. Falling out of clubs drunk, cheering on sports and holding down a difficult military job has shown a more
humanside to the royal family.
In his 30th year William will have to decide whether to carry on with his military career or take on more public duties.
He was a prominent figure in the recent Diamond Jubilee celebrations and alongside his wife is very much being groomed
as a future king. The prince has made it clear though that his priority this year is starting a family with Kate!
