The idea is to save energy. So if it's effective, does that mean we pay less in conservancy charges ?

As I understand, the energy from the solar panels is used to power the elevators. And a high-rise building, elevators are the main guzzlers.

If no reduction in conservancy charges, then install solar panels kumlan ah ?

The savings from using solar power to operate the elevators instead of PUB electricity will likely be minimal, as the solar panels and related equipment require maintenance. I believe the primary purpose of utilizing solar energy is to promote go green rather than cost savings.

Not even enough to power the elevators from rooftop. Panels. Maybe just supply Power to the grid during daytime peak.

All it does is contribute to the economy of China and fulfills the KPI of the anti-carbon cult that is the PAP regime.

Don't forget the cronies which supply those steel/aluminium lattice structures for supporting the solar panels.

By the way, around my place this is the Tiong brand of solar panels. I saw them unload pallets of the solar panels at the open air carpark, then using a crane to lift them up to the rooftop. :whistling:

Nope, solar panels installation comes at a high cost including maintenance, which can only break even at least only after 7 years.

Hence HDB didn't charge you extra tao chio already LOL.

Pap use our money to enhance their profits but give nothing back to us.
This isn’t something new
