Malaysia, a country which has its own Apartheid system that has lasted well into the 21st century, expressing sorrow and admiration for the demise of a great Statesman who is the face of the Apartheid's demise and the system's biggest critic.

The gall and hypocrisy of international diplomacy has reached new heights.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 — The Malaysian government and its people today conveyed their deepest sympathies and condolences to the government and the people of South Africa on the demise of former president Nelson Mandela.

A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry following the passing of Mandela, said his demise was a great loss not only to South Africa and the African continent, but also to the world.

“The late president Nelson Mandela will be deeply missed for his influence and contribution in the fight for equality, humanity and reconciliation.

“His strength of character, perseverance and leadership qualities befit the challenging times that South Africa had faced during the struggle against the apartheid regime and the pursuit of independence of South Africa,” the statement said.

It said the government and Malaysians also extended their heartfelt feelings of profound sympathy to the late Mandela’s family as they grieve their personal loss.

are you sure there is no Apartheid in Singapore?

PAP set fund to build mosque.

However, chinese community has to use their own fund like fund raising dinner and yamseng to collect fund to build temples.

is this Apartheid?

is this Apartheid?

In politics, it all depends upon where you're coming from. It can be described as "Affirmative Action", "helping the disadvantaged" or "Apartheid" or "Discriminatory".

Take your pick. Use whatever term you want to bolster your argument for or against the policy.

Take this as an example:
MALAY/MUSLIM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND (MMCDF)

1. Background

The MMCDF was set up in 1991 to provide funding for programmes which support the
mission objectives of MENDAKI that can make a difference to the Malay/Muslim
community. The government provides matching grants for donations raised by the
Institutional Members (IMs) of MENDAKI. Over the years, the government has
increased its matching grant up to $4 million, with $2 million allocated for MENDAKI,
$1m for Institutional Members and $1m for AMP.

why there is no such fund by government to help chinese community?

Beng ah, stay out of regional matters. You're out of your depth.
Concentrate on what you're good at: correcting singlish, ok?

What the fuck do you mean by this? The Malays are in power in their own ancestral land. It is the rich Chinkaner parasites who are speaking Chinkaans now. A unique language on its own..."Saya tolong lu, apa orang tolong kua?" And they want equal rights.

If this is not racist what is?

United Malays National Organisation (UMNO)

Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA)

Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC)

Each party wants to advance the interests of their own race. No wonder they are unable to progress and catch up with the other Asian nations. It is fortunate that they are blessed with rich resources to plunder.

Singapore may not be the same as Malaysia but LKY says we are not ready for a non-chinese prime minister.

Yes every time I cross the causeway I pity the oppressed and segregated Chinese there kept in gated and guarded Tamans while casinos are opened specially for them thus forced to commit vice.

They are also forced to go to Chinese schools and unlike in Indonesia and Thailand must keep their Chinese names.

I say FREE ____________________ (insert imprisoned Chinese version of Mandela here)!
