Talked to a number of my American friends about the coming November's Presidential elections and their choice of candidates.
Most of them are apathetic to the elections. They don't really care who is going to be the next US president. That explains why only about 35% or so of the eligible voters turned up to vote in past US Presidential elections. This time round, the voting percent may even drop below 30%.
When asked who will be the better president for the USA ? Trump or Hillary ? The answer is mostly Hillary, not because she is good, but she is perceived as the lesser of two evils. Trump is a crazy guy. The more he opens his mouth, the more he makes a fool of himself. Hillary is a woman. There has never been a woman President in US before. But with Trump running for the president's candidacy, Hillary might very possibly become the first woman president of USA.

Janet Yellen is not going to raise interest rate in anticipation of a Democratic win in the November's US Presidential election. She is holding the stock markets up with no change in rates. But there is a slight possibility of a freak result that could possibly tank the market on the morning after November 8. The question is : Should we pile into the stock market now or wait til it tanks and go in ? Because of the uncertainty, the markets will be in a volatile state until November 8.
