French Military Threatens Mutiny Against Macron - Over Orang Islam Again

The French people have a history of rising up against their kings and rulers. In the famous French Revolution of 1789 they chopped off the heads of their king, queen and almost all their aristocracy. The French Army was also involved in the French Revolution - on the side of the revolutionaries. Since 1789 France has been a republic.
172 years later in 1961 there was an attempted mutiny by units of the French military against then President Charles DeGaulle. DeGaulle had agreed to grant Algeria its independence. Algeria was a French colony from 1830 - 1962. DeGaulle's decision inflamed many Frenchmen especially about 1.5 million French-Algerians who had been born and raised in Algeria (the 'pied-noir' or "blackfeet"). Leading the mutiny were four French Army Generals. Their mutiny was called the Algiers Putsch or Generals Putsch or Generals Coup.

The Generals Coup of 1961 failed. But parts of the French population (and the military) were in support of the Generals. The Algerian Putsch did split public opinion to some extent. The vast majority of the French population had already voted in a referendum to grant Algeria full independence. The issue at hand was how to deal with the fates and fortunes of the 1.5 million French-Algerians who knew no other home other than Algeria.

Now 60 years later in 2021 there is another mutiny of sorts taking place in France again. 20 retired generals from the French military and 1,500 other 'serving' officers (including many, many colonels) have signed a 'Letter of Warning' to the French President Emmanuele Macron about the possibility of a Civil War in France over the Muslim population in that country.

Background: France in recent years has experienced intense bouts of social unrest as well as attacks by Islamist extremists. On April 21, 20 former generals and more than 1,500 members of the military, police and gendarmerie signed an open letter calling on France’s leaders to “eradicate” threats and “safeguard the nation.” Failure risks a military uprising and civil war, the letter warned.
What Happened: On Sunday, the government of President Emmanuel Macron responded. Defense Minister Florence Parly called the letter irresponsible and condemned politicization of the armed forces. She was especially critical of far-right leader Marine Le Pen’s attempts to recruit the letter’s signatories to her party.
Bottom Line: That so many current members of the defense and security establishment were willing to sign the letter suggests they do not fear punishment. This is especially notable in a country like France, with a history of the military getting involved in domestic politics. This could be a warning to Macron.

My comments : About 8% of the French population are Muslims (over 5 million Muslims out of 65 million total population).
There are serious issues between a significant number of Muslims in France and the rest of the non-Muslim population. Of course some of the Muslims (not all) do not fit into modern French society. And these Muslims are also asserting their separate identity more vigorously (some would say 'aggressively').
From the Letter of Warning it appears that these differences are growing more pronounced. First here is the Letter of Warning from the French military (Army, Navy, Airforce and the French Foreign Legion - Legion Etrangere) addressed to the President of France.

OPEN LETTER TO OUR GOVERNORS
Mister President,
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Government,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.
The hour is serious, France is in danger, several mortal dangers threaten it. We who, even in retirement, remain soldiers of France, cannot, in the current circumstances, remain indifferent to the fate of our beautiful country.
Our tricolor flags are not just a piece of cloth, they symbolize the tradition, through the ages, of those who, whatever their skin color or their faith, served France and gave their lives for it. On these flags, we find in gold letters the words "Honor and Fatherland". However, our honor today lies in the denunciation of the disintegration which strikes our homeland.
- Discrimination which, through a certain anti-racism, is displayed with a single goal: to create on our soil a malaise, even hatred between the communities.
Today some speak of racialism, indigenism and decolonial theories, but, through these terms, it is the racial war that these hateful and fanatic partisans want.
They despise our country, its traditions, its culture, and want to see it dissolve by taking away its past and its history. Thus they attack, through statues, ancient military and civilian glories by analyzing words that are centuries old.
- Discrimination which, with Islamism and the suburban hordes, leads to the detachment of multiple plots of the nation to transform them into territories subject to dogmas contrary to our constitution.
But every Frenchman, whatever his belief or his non-belief, is everywhere at home in France; there cannot and must not exist any city, any district where the laws of the Republic do not apply.
- Discrimination because hatred takes precedence over brotherhood during demonstrations where the power uses the police as a proxy and scapegoat in the face of French people in yellow vests expressing their despair. This while infiltrated and hooded individuals ransack businesses and threaten these same police forces. Yet the latter only apply the directives, sometimes contradictory, given by you, the rulers.
Perils are mounting, violence is increasing day by day. Who would have predicted ten years ago that a professor would one day be beheaded when he left college?
However, we, servants of the Nation, who have always been ready to put our skin at the end of our engagement - as our military state demanded, cannot be passive spectators in the face of such actions.

  • So those who lead our country must imperatively find the courage necessary to eradicate these dangers.
  • To do this, it is often sufficient to apply existing laws without weakness.
  • Do not forget that, like us, a large majority of our fellow citizens are overwhelmed by your dabbling and guilty silences.

As Cardinal Mercier, Primate of Belgium, said: “When prudence is everywhere, courage is nowhere. So, Ladies and Gentlemen, enough procrastination, the hour is serious, the work is colossal; do not waste time and know that we are ready to support policies which will take into consideration the safeguard of the nation.
On the other hand, if nothing is done, laxity will continue to spread inexorably in society, ultimately causing an explosion and the intervention of our active comrades in a perilous mission of protecting our civilizational values and safeguarding of our compatriots on the national territory.
As we can see, it is no longer time to procrastinate otherwise, tomorrow the civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and the deaths, for which you will bear the responsibility, will number in the thousands.

My comments : That last paragraph is quite clear. If the French government does not do anything then the people (and the Army) will do what is deemed necessary.

I see a failed experiment in France. Multi-culturalism does not work. To make a society function well, the more capable, able, more modern and more efficient culture in any society must lead the way - without any hindrance from a lesser performing culture or tradition. This is not rocket science. This is how things are.
He who has the discipline and the capacity to design and manufacture a Citroen, Renault or Peugeot will drive a Citroen, Renault and Peugeot to work. He who only knows how to care for camels will ride a camel. Maybe another French Revolution is on the way.

Whites has never learn from their history of Romans Empire invasion of Judea, the Jewish people.... Jewish cherish their religious democracy and human rights to practice alone and not whites to lord over them.

Only their God is their king.
