The freaking weather is atrocious !! Hot and stuffy as in a oven .....

can you believe i'm at the butchart gardens right now on vancouver island? 5:16pm, 18c, sunny, cool breeze, drinking tea, overlooking gardens, fountains and pools. it's tulip season, and everywhere are all colors of tulips. life is good.

I do believe.

However, one thing lacking is that you should be drinking heineken atau chivas instead of the humble tea. Life, thus should be better.:D:eek:

butch art gardens? ...

u njoy ogling @ butches as art? ...

butchart, one word name. pronounced as boot-chart. estate named after the butchart family who used to run a lime quarry for their cement business. lime ran out and left a huge hole. wife decided to turn quarry into a garden and the hole became the "sunken garden". got carried away, and wife turned estate plus quarry into several gardens: english, rose, italian, japanese. 2nd visit for me. always gorgeous, colorful and bountiful with new flowers and plants. you want butch, must contact greenlaser.

9:42am, 15c, sunny, cool in squamish on way to whistler. beautiful coast. snow-capped mountains by the ocean.

Given the resources and money that Singapore (PAP) has, surely something can be done about the weather?

sg can build a giant elliptical dome to cover almost whole of island from tuas in the west to tampines in the east(short of changi) and from woodlands in the north to sentosa in the south. the authorities can control the environment from freezing to sizzling hot. all it takes is 10 trillion sgd.

blackcomb is still open for skiing while whistler is already closed. having lunch on a deck at the ski village. sunny but breezy.
