SINGAPORE - A former manager at bakery chain BreadTalk has been charged with criminal breach of trust.

Or Zhi Xian, 24, was accused of misappropriating cash amounting to S$14,539 between Jan 7 and Jan 18 this year.

He allegedly committed the offence at a BreadTalk outlet in Kampong Ampat, where he was a branch manger.

If convicted, he could be jailed up to 15 years and fined. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
